I've decided that i will not be planning any chalets/bbqs this year.
Well, because the number of people turning up is pathetic.
So instead of spending your money on chalets, i will plan other activities that i think more people would turn up.
Right, thats it for now. Please do look out for this space, i will continue updating here.

so we're done with O levels and everything is getting better. :)
we'll be having our class chalet somewhere near january i guess.
Since many are going out of town during the December period.
um, outings are of course a must. we've been having a few.. alright, i dont think its a class outing anymore. maybe its called "the usuals outing". Where always the few who'll turn up, turns up.
i know you dont know what i mean, its okay. I dont know either.
So we had a mini farewell party & bithday party for karpak and lijing respectively.
In case you dont know, Karpak ~~is leaving~~ has left for Canada. He will be back during a short period in january, so we'll be having out class chalet during that week.
Yes, he's leaving for good. (correct me if i'm wrong)
But dont worry people, with technology THIS advanced, we'll still be able to keep in contact!
we dont have to use pigeons to communicate.
Alright, i just thought i'll inform you guys about the chalet. In case you thought we'll not be having any. please make yourself free from 10th january to about 20th january. (i only know he'll be back in sg on 10th january, i dont know when he's leaving again)
& also to inform you all that karpak has left..
lets wish him all the best over at canada okay?

Fine, since this thing is dead I shall just post. Oh dear, 'O' Levels are coming much sooner than we think. 11 weeks and 35 minutes left. Oh dear. However, just look on the bright side!! Its still a cause for celebration because the fruits of our labor are going to bear fruit!! Just imagine the moment when you are clutching your 'O' Level certificate and you are totally satisfied with your grades, a real mental booster. Anyway, I found a site that is pretty useful, the worked solutions of the 2008 'O' Level papers can be viewed free on this site "http://www.exampaper.com.sg/".

Answers for humanities subjects and english is not needed because there is NO WORKING! Yeah, the answers actually help if you're totally lost and need some help because you cannot even start the question. WARNING: Do not blindly copy the answer, it won't help. Only use the answer if you really cannot make it. And do a similar question after that.

Okay, anyway if you're still scared you can always look at my handy exam tips(I don't know whether they actually help or not). Whatever, I'll just end my post here.

heyho, i was just trying out a new website that i've dicovered. so i decided to make one for the class! i think its awesome, fine thats what I think. look, there's still a peace sign. TOTALLY REPRESENTS US. that website is awesome. it's so much easier to use than photoshop. ask from me if you want it.(you dont even have to sign up for it)
But you know what, i could hardly dig out for a decent picture. this means, we need to take more pictures! then i can edit and put it up here. pretty isnt it? :D

yes, you know why i'm here.
to wish you luck of course.
GOODLUCK TO 2PEACE07 PEOPLE TAKING CHINESE O LEVEL PAPER TMR AS WELL AS EVERY SEC 4 & 5 TAKING THEM!
do it once, do it well!

things you should do the day before:
-look through notes from you teacher (if you have) if you dont have, look through some past papers you attempted.
-sleep earlier to avoid being sleepyheads while reading the passages. (it happens to me most of the time)
- keep yourself as healthy as you can. drink more water. (this isnt just a day or 2 thing but well..)

things you should do before the paper:
-go to the toilet! you know you wont have time to do so when the paper started. & from what i know you're not allowed to go to the toilet until 30 minutes after the starting time.
-make sure you've all the items need! e.g: IC/ezlink/passport, dictionary(paper1), have many many pens, tissue paper.
- wear your jacket when the paper is given out. trust me, you wont have time to slowly wear your jacket in the midst of the paper. unless you know you wont feel cold, which is pretty unlikely.
- DONT BE SO NERVOUS. it will have adverse effects, but also dont be overconfident.

k, i hope all this helps. i know its like super late to be saying all this now. but well, it'll still help for other olevel papers.

Hi people,Junhao here.I must say we have all been so busy that we kind of forgot about this blog.Look at the pathetic tagbox.The people trying to keep this place alive are Alicia,Geraint,Li Jing,Joyce and Marcus(sorry if I left anyone out,I'm not feeling very well as you can see I wasn't in school today but yet still online).I must say I'm guilty of not keeping this blog alive.So I'm here now to blog.It's a good thing I still remember the username and password,and that the password hasn't changed.

So how have you people been coping with the stress of the impending 'O' levels?Well,I hope.I've certainly been trying hard,but not hard enough.I am still struggling with Chemistry and Additional Mathematics,while the rest of my subjects are probably average.History is proving to be more difficult than it looks,and Mdm Chng isn't doing anything much to alleviate that.Her teaching method is total crap.Even Rosniati was much better.At least she gave notes.

The absurdity of the situation we are in now is really major.I sometimes really wonder why are we studying so hard for.I mean,yeah it's for our future and it IS important,that fact will remain till the end of time,but why are we studying like there's no tomorrow?Everybody needs a break.I certainly need one,a LONG one at that but I am so tied up with studying I kind of neglected my own well-being.I mean,I'm so unhappy now(and Geraint is going to say "When were you ever happy?")and it's like I don't know why am I doing all this.

I really wonder where the problem lies,with me or the society,or maybe there isn't a problem at all?My thoughts now are currently very sophisticated and convoluted.Sometimes I really wonder whether school is a vocation,something within me seems to be beckoning me to school,to study and to finish my homework.Thus,is there a problem or not?Somebody unravel my thoughts please.I'm truly perplexed,baffled and confused currently.

I hope my post has not unsettled anybody's thoughts,I urge you not to,I'm just rambling on and on as usual.And with this I end my post.

i've got many people asking me what they should bring
so, there are some things i need you guys to bring them for me.

- disposable utensils. (plates,cups,fork,spoon,chopsticks etc.)
-card games. ( poker cards, uno cards, old maid etc. whatever you can think of)
-garbage bags
-speakers which can work (optional)
-satay sticks.
-skates. (ps: dont bring if its raining unless you dont mind. :D)

for the benefits of the uk trip people, as well as the cambodia trip people.
i've decided that the chalet should be :
date: 10dec-12dec (wednesday-friday)
venue: ~~east coast park~~>coasta sands sentosa
majority wins, if there's more people wanting a change of date. then, i might postpone this whole damn thing.

i've checked the availabilty of all the aloha loyang chalets, and all of them are fully booked
so i went ahead to check the vacancies of the aloha changi.
i couldnt find any 3 days consecutive vacancy, but i've found 2 instead.
CHANGI ALOHA:
yacht club bungalow:28 dec, 29 dec/ $270.
netheravon terraces bungalow D:29 dec,30dec/$250
the price is for each day i think.
so i'm wondering if you guys would mind staying in changi, cause i know its kinda eerie & stuffs.
if you all dont want then we can either go ahead with east coast or coasta sands.
umm, costa sands are mostly empty except
1nov,8nov,22nov,29nov which are all saturdays.
east coast seems to be really empty too.

Hi ppl.Junhao here.I have to apologize for not blogging coz mua modem was down(see my blog for details).So I'll blog today okay.With more tips.Let's start with the tips first.Today's tips are on how to deal with exam papers.

1:Please calm down before the paper.You wouldn't want to freak out and forget all the answers.It's not worth it.Just stay calm.

2:As again,I want to say that the paper is more afraid of you than you are afraid to it.Just treat it as a friend.Or as someone like Gabriel.It's just a bloody loser.

3:Please be fully awake before tackling the papers.Burning the midnight oil before the paper is useless.You'll only be more confused.So,start studying NOW!!!!!

4:Remember to keep functioning stationery.Exploding calculators and pens w/o ink will "guarantee" your "A1".

5:Remember all youe notes and pocket guides etctetc.Try to read all of them before the exam starts.You might be able to find something useful.But please make sure you are fully awake before attempting.

Hello ppl~!Mr.J blogging again.I have just finished my A.Math tuition HW(yay!)so I will post more tips to help you all with the examinations.Today's topic is on how to revise propely.Lol.U all rmb the old tips also okay?Or maybe u all alr rmb.Ok let's start!

1:For subjects like history/biology/social studies that need LOTS of memory work,don't attempt to study in just a day.Split the chapters and the chapters into sub-chapters.Take 3 days for a subject.Still don't know,consult ur teachers!

2:For subjects like Math/A.Math,just practice MORE!!!Do at least 10 sums a day.If the sum is wrong den do 50 sums the next day.Don't know how to do can consult ur teacher or smarter ppl(not me.).

3:For subjects like chemistry which require memory work and understanding,take a whole week to understand.Split chapters into sub-chapters and practice.Do 10 qns a day.Don't know how to do ask ur teacher or Jun Kang cos he owned the China girl in chemistry.

4:Be HARDWORKING!Study hard.Make sure you have no free time.Free time in the afternoon=study time.Don't lie to ur mom that u are revising for english when there is nth to revise.

5:Manage your time well.Study at least 7 hours a day(excluding school).Example:I reach home at 1310.Lunch from 1310-1345.Study from 1400-1600.Break for 1/2 hr.Study again from 1630-1830.Dinner time!1830-2000(rest more!).2000-2030 is running time!2.4km.Finish it in at least 13 mins(although I can't but I'm trying really hard).Den go home,bathe.Only run thrice a week or u might get sick.From 2030 study till 2230.There!You're free to do wadeva you want after 2230.

6:Invest in a good laptop.Laptops are used to study as well.Just look at social studies buddy and wikipedia.Perfect for social studies and history.Or any subject bcoz wikipedia has all the bloody math formulas and wadeva u want.

7:Invest in a good mp3 player.Study w/o music=die of boredom.If u cheapskate or really broke juz use ur laptop.But rmb to buy good speakers.

8:Use a five-day work week.Don't study 7 days a wk.U will die of over-stress.Saturdays and sundays are for non-stop laptoping,shopping,eating and wadeva.Ppl who have CCA on saturdays shld juz quit or languish in agony.

9:For languages,juz read more newspapers and books.I'm not very sure for chinese cos I'm not very good.But still can pass 1.Juz rmb all the idioms meaning for zhao ju can pass 1.Li jie wen da juz lift from the passage.For english juz read and read and read and read.Period.

10:Lastly,do not panic like me when you know exams are coming.Just take it easy..I just calmed down.After knowing how to do the A.math HW(yay!)..Lol!Just stay calm okay?And panicking during the exam is worse.Just treat it as a normal piece of HW and than you won't feel so nervous.Rmb,the paper is always more scared of you!

1:Pls x2 check your bag b4 u leave ur house.Blur sotongs like sandy,kp,meHh etcetc cfm forget sumth 1.U don wana go to sch for mathematics paper and realise your calculator is happily sleeping at home.

2:Make sure all your pens have ink..You don't wana be writing a 99999 word essay and realise your bloody pen out of ink and all your other pens in the same colour no ink.And you can't borrow.

3:Don't do retarded things b4 you start the paper..Geraint and Kp watch out!Ltr you will tend to forget all the info and rmb the retarded thing u do with ur retarded partner and u still have to try not to laugh in class.Unless it's art exam.Do the complete opposite for art exam.

4:Read pocket study guides,notes etcetc b4 the paper starts.Ltr juz nice you read sumth that is in qn 1,2 and 3..Its quite possible..Happened to me a few times alr.

5:Last of all,pls be fully awake b4 you come to school.You don't wana realise after the paper that you know a lot of answers to the questions but you forgot when you were doing because you were too sleepy.So,go and bathe in cold water or ask your mom to slap you or sumth.
